Faro di Punta Carena

In Anacapri, there is a beautiful lighthouse where it is a tradition to kiss your lover in front of the sign which reads “Zona Romantica, Obbligatorio Baciarsi” or “Romantic Zone, Kissing Required”.

The lighthouse itself was built in 1866 and is one of Italy’s largest and most important lighthouses. This area is known for its sunsets since it faces west and is a beautiful backdrop for a photo opportunity.
