Neptune’s Net

Neptune’s Net

In 1956 it was a gas station, real-estate office and restaurant called Panorama Pacific at Solimar on the property, and was owned by Jacob Eastman who was an aerodynamicist for NASA. The restaurant, which is located on the Ventura-Los Angela county line served burgers, sandwiches and fried seafood, and soon the locals began to call it “Jake’s Diner”.  In 1974 it was sold to Paul Seays and his wife Dolly who changed the name to Neptune’s Net.  They sold it in 1991 to the current owners Chong Lee and his wife Michelle.  Neptune’s Net has been in many films such as Point Break.
