Paradise Cove Beach Cafe
Paradise Cove Beach Cafe
The Morris Family owned the Beach Cafe during the 1950s and 60s during which time it was a fishing community and also there were television shows filmed there such as Gidget, Sea Hunt, and Malibu Run. Beach Blanket Bingo was also filmed at the Cove. Then Papa Joe sold Paradise Cove to the Kissel family. During that time Joe Morris’ sons went off to open restaurants such as Gladstone’s, Universal City Walk, Fisherman’s Village (Marina Del Rey) and more. But the brothers always missed the Cove. In 1996 one of the brothers Bob bought it back. He and his family own it to this day.
