The iconic Los Angeles hot dog stand, shaped like a giant hot dog, was opened in 1946. It has been featured in several television shows and movies such as Columbo, Body Double and L.A. Story. The stand was closed in 2005 and moved into storage, in Torrance. After a couple of failed attempts of being reopened, it was finally revived by The 1933 Group, which restored the stand and reopened it in West Hollywood in 2022.
